GOOD READS

It’s a tough road sometimes, and if you’re like me, focus and concentration are extra difficult when we are struggling. These books not only held my interest, in most cases, they helped shift my perspective and move me forward. I suggest you read them with a highlighter in hand and a journal to write out the words you find particularly meaningful.

Lysa TerKeurst:

‘Uninvited; Living Loved When You Feel Less Than, Left Out, and Lonely.’

‘It’s Not Supposed To Be This Way; Finding Unexpected Strength When Disappointments Leave You Shattered.’

‘Finding I Am – Bible Study Book: How Jesus Fully Satisfies the Cry of Your Heart.’

Carol Kent:

"When I Lay My Isaac Down - Unshakable Faith in Unthinkable Circumstances"

"A New Kind of Normal - Hope-filled Choices When Life Turns Upside Down"

"He Holds My Hand - Experiencing God's Presence of Protection."

Robyn Dykstra:

"The Widow Wore Pink- A True Story of Life After Loss and the Transforming Power of a Loving God"

Joyce Meyer:

‘Healing the Soul of a Woman’

Brene Brown:

‘Daring Greatly: How the Courage to Be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead.’

‘The Gifts of Imperfection: Let Go of Who You Think You’re Supposed to Be and Embrace Who You Are.’

‘I Thought it Was Just Me, (but it isn’t): Making the Journey from “What Will People Think?” to “I Am Enough.’

‘Rising Strong: How the Ability to Reset Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead.’

Max Lucado:

‘Anxious for Nothing: Finding Calm in a Chaotic World.’
